Chapter 3186: His lungs were hit!

Monday morning sunlight streamed through the gaps in the curtains and fell on Xi'er and Tan Jin'er's small dining table.

The white porridge was steaming, and on the plate were a fried dough stick and a tea egg. Tan Jin'er put the peeled egg into Xi'er's bowl and said softly, "Eat quickly, you still have to go to school, don't be late."

Xi'er took a small spoon, poked at the egg in the bowl, and put the spoon down: "Sister, I'm full, I can't eat anymore."

"How can you eat so little? You have to finish everything in your bowl."

Xi'er's face fell, her shoulders slumped slightly, her lips moved, and suddenly she hummed a familiar tune: "Don't feed me anymore, my tummy is about to explode~"

Her eyes were fixed on the eggs in the bowl, but she was actually secretly observing her older sister's reaction.

Tan Jin'er was amused by her and retorted, "You're good at using your own song to deal with your older sister! You sang 'Mom said to eat one more bite,' but your older sister is not the 'mom' in the song, but the older sister who is responsible for making sure you have enough to eat. Even if your song becomes popular, it can't be eaten as food. Hurry up and finish your eggs and fried dough sticks, and just drink a couple of sips of porridge."

Xi'er pouted, knowing her sister wouldn't compromise, so she picked up her spoon and slowly scooped up two spoonfuls of porridge, saying, "But I really can't eat anymore... Sister, I'll pack the fried dough sticks to go, I'll eat them on the way."

Tan Jin'er asked, "You didn't get lost on the way, did you?"

"I can't! This is all food."

Tan Jin'er believed Xi'er's words; Xi'er really wouldn't waste food. So she agreed to her request, packed her some tea eggs and fried dough sticks, and took them to school.

"Make sure you finish eating on the way; don't waste any," Tan Jin'er instructed.

"It definitely won't be wasted!"

She slung her backpack over her shoulder and went out the door. Just then, Robin from next door also went out. The two of them went to Little Red Horse together, and then met up with Little White at Little Red Horse so they could go to school together.

Once inside the elevator, Xi'er looked around and asked Robin if he wanted breakfast.

“I’ve already eaten,” Robin said.

"My breakfast is delicious. Look, there are fried dough sticks and tea eggs. It's very tasty. Eat more so you can grow taller."

Xi'er tried to persuade Robin.

Robin thought for a moment. Although she had eaten, she always had a good appetite. In order to grow taller, she took Xi'er's breakfast and finished it in no time. The two of them had just left the community when she finished eating.

Xi'er stared in disbelief and asked her in confusion, "Robin, did you really eat breakfast at home? You're not hungry, are you? Do you want me to buy you two more meat buns?"

Robin quickly waved her hand, saying she was full.

Half an hour later, at the school gate, Sun Kang, the school's security captain, stopped Xiaobai and Xier.

Sun Kang has a buzz cut, thick black eyebrows, and sharp eyes. When he stands at the school gate, even the naughty students dare not make a sound. He looks particularly fierce.

Xi'er subconsciously moved closer to Xiaobai.

Xiao Bai, however, was not intimidated by Sun Kang at all. She calmly asked, "Master Kang, where do you want to stay?"

Sun Kang, nicknamed "Master Kang," blushed slightly on his dark cheeks, rubbed his hands together in front of him, and said with a hint of embarrassment, "I'm looking for Xi'er. Hello, Xi'er."

Xi'er glanced at him in surprise and replied, "Hello, Captain Sun."

“My daughter especially loves your rendition of ‘Don’t Feed Me!’” Sun Kang pulled a notebook with a little rabbit printed on it from his pocket, his fingers rubbing the edge of the notebook. “She’s four years old this year, and she sings ‘Don’t Feed Me!’ at home every day. She even says she wants to be your little fan…”

He rambled on and on, and Xiaobai immediately asked, "So you want Xiwawa's autograph?"

"Oh? Yes, yes, I need an autograph. Can I get it in this notebook?"

Xiao Bai turned to Xi'er and said, "Xi'er, please sign your name."

Sun Kang took a colored pen out of his pocket and handed it to Xi'er. Xi'er took it and wrote the words "Xi'er" in her notebook, and drew a small smiley face next to it.

Sun Kang took the notebook, carefully tucked it into his pocket, and thanked her repeatedly, "Thank you so much, Xi'er! My daughter will be so happy to see this!"

This scene was witnessed by Liuliu, who had just arrived at the school gate, and she felt as if something had pierced her heart.

She clutched her lungs and bent over. Xie Xiaoxu, who happened to be passing by, saw this and quickly went to help her up, asking her with concern what was wrong.

"Liuliu, do you have a stomachache? Are you feeling unwell? Where does it hurt? I'll take you to the school clinic."

"I, I..." Liu Liu said with difficulty, as if even speaking was difficult, "I've been stabbed in the lungs!"

"Huh?" Xie Xiaoxu was stunned. Had he hit her lung? She exclaimed in panic, "You, you're not going to die, are you??? I'll support you, and you should try to help yourself. Let's go to the infirmary quickly."

Liuliu asked him why she also needed to exert some effort.

"I can't lift you up," Xie Xiaoxu said.

Liuliu immediately told him to get lost and not to block her way, and that she would kill him if he dared to say another word.

Xie Xiaoxu left, and Liuliu glanced at Sun Kang, recalling the scene of Sun Kang asking Xi'er for an autograph earlier, and she was extremely envious.

Sun Kang! That's Sun Kang, the infamous villain! He actually asked Xi'er for her autograph?! When did he ever ask her for an autograph?!

Sure enough, singers are more famous than movie stars!

Liu Liu had no time to greet Xiao Bai Xi'er. She immediately pulled out her children's smartwatch and quickly dialed Zhu's mother's number, her voice urgent: "Zhu's mother! I need to film! I need to work! I need to support myself! Please help me find a script! I can't rest any longer, Xi'er is so popular!"

Zhu Xiaojing on the other end of the phone was stunned for a moment, wondering what had triggered Liuliu. Usually, scripts would be sent to her, but she herself didn't want to act, saying that she wanted to focus on her studies. But now she was clamoring to see scripts and take on roles.

As soon as Liuliu entered the house after school in the evening, Zhu Xiaojing came out of the bedroom, holding three thin notebooks in her hand, and handed them to her: "Here, take these, they're for you."

"What? A workbook? I don't want it!! Why are you giving it to me? There must be a mistake???"

When Liuliu saw the notebooks, they looked just like the exercise books issued by the school. She quickly put her hands behind her back, not catching them at all, and let one notebook fall onto the sofa and the other two fall onto the floor.

She dared not accept them; if she did, they would be hers. What would she need so many workbooks for? Zhu's mother was trying to trick her again!

She won't be fooled.

Zhu Xiaojing rolled her eyes at her: "These are scripts! Didn't you ask me to keep an eye out for them?! I received three today. See if any of them interest you."

"Huh? Hahahaha~~~~"

Liuliu was a little embarrassed, but only a little, and quickly got over it.

She picked up the book from the sofa, quickly flipped it open, and saw that it was filled with dialogues, as well as marked scenes and actions. It was definitely not homework.

Upon opening the cover, Liuliu was overjoyed after just one glance.

The inside of the cover reads the title of the script: "The Little Singer of the Campus".

She quickly turned to the next page, becoming more and more engrossed. The script told the story of a cheerful little girl named "Little Chili" who had an amazing singing voice and won a school singing competition by captivating everyone with an original children's song.

"Who wrote this? I want a reward!" Liu Liu was so excited that she couldn't speak coherently. This script was exactly what she wanted. She even suspected that it was written by Boss Zhang to please her. Otherwise, how would he know what she wanted most?
