Chapter 24, but he just couldn't wait.
Around noon, Kang Woo-jin first checked the filming schedule for the day, then asked Joo Ji-hoon if he had any plans for lunch. He was relieved to hear that all of today's scenes would be filmed in the evening.
Zhu Zhixun was still a little confused. Why did Jiang Youzhen go out instead of working on his script today?
Kang Woo-jin didn't say anything, but when he came out, he pulled Joo Ji-hoon along, ostensibly to practice their lines.
Zhu Zhixun didn't suspect anything and followed Jiang Youzhen out.
Even after seeing Yoon Eun-hye still in the private room, Joo Ji-hoon was still a little dazed. But seeing the dissatisfaction in her eyes, he wisely chose to keep quiet.
Does he seem to have come to the wrong place?
"I have quite a few scenes in the script with Ji-hoon hyung, Eun-hye-ssi doesn't mind, right?"
Upon hearing Kang Woo-jin's words, Yoon Eun-hye looked up and saw the handsome face opposite her, beaming with a sunny smile. Her previous dissatisfaction instantly vanished, and she shook her head with a smile, saying, "Of course I don't mind."
No wonder!
Joo Ji-hoon had no idea what was going on, but at Kang Woo-jin's suggestion, he actually took out the script and went over the lines with Kang Woo-jin word by word.
So focused on the scene that he didn't even notice how resentful the look in the eyes of the person opposite him was.
Using the excuse of rehearsing a scene, he went out for dessert. Kang Woo-jin barely touched his food; he didn't really like sweets. But he loved coffee. He hadn't been in the country for many years, but his favorite was still this bitter, unsweetened Americano.
However, none of these things taste bad.
After rehearsing the lines for several scenes, the three of them went back to the set after Joo Ji-hoon received a call from his manager.
As he passed through the film set gate, Jiang Youzhen glanced at the parking lot and saw Jiang Jingshu's bright silver E46. A thought struck him, and he went into the film set and headed towards the office area.
When Jiang Jingshu saw her son appear, she casually waved and handed the takeout bag to Jiang Youzhen as he walked over.
"Here's what you wanted: salad, steak, and a bowl of fried rice."
As Kang Woo-jin sat there eating, she glanced out the window and casually asked, "Did you go out with Joo Ji-hoon and Yoon Eun-hye at noon?"
"Yeah, Yoon Eun-hye told me about rehearsing the scene this morning, but she gave me an address outside, so I brought Joo Ji-hoon over instead."
Hearing this, Jiang Jingshu nodded approvingly, "Well done. Don't be alone with someone of the opposite sex outside, especially actors."
Jiang Youzhen paused, looked up, and asked, "Mom, are you worried someone might try to scam me?"
"It's not just you, it's our whole family. You know I'm a screenwriter. If I get involved with you, someone might take advantage of you for their own benefit." As she spoke, Jiang Jingshu pointed out the window, her gaze quickly sweeping over some people.
"Be careful when you're on set. I don't mind you making friends, but be wary of anyone who approaches you with ulterior motives."
"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing."
Jiang Youzhen was never a talkative person to begin with, and he felt that even after spending so much time on set, he would still be the same. Besides, he wanted to stay away from those people anyway.
After chatting with her son for a while and learning that he had two more scenes to film that evening, Jiang Jingshu decided not to wait for him on set any longer. She had originally planned to take Jiang Youzhen home, but now she thought better of it.
Jiang Youzhen was stunned for a while as Jiang Jingshu left him without any mercy. After he came to his senses, he stopped dwelling on the matter.
He didn't want to be the one hitching a ride, so he figured he'd just have to make do with his dad.
.
The next day, Mads Wu got up late. He had planned to buy some coffee and snacks to take to the film set, but when he went downstairs, he found that his beloved car was gone from the garage.
"Where's the car?!"
After a while, Mads Wu received a call from Jiang Youzhen, informing him that his beloved car had been driven away by his good son.
"Since you're always sleeping at home anyway, Dad, I can borrow your car for a while. Don't worry, I'll return it to you as soon as I finish filming. I'll make sure it's sparkling clean and has all the maintenance done for you."
...
Mads Wu felt his eyelids twitching, but since the car had already been driven away, there was nothing he could say. He could only tell his son not to scratch the car.
After hanging up the phone, the elderly father was still worried about his beloved car. Distracted by this, he lost all interest in going out to visit his father on set.
But he would rather buy a lot of things to visit the film set than have his beloved car vandalized by his son.
Since he had no scenes to film today, Kang Woo-jin was able to openly return home and drive away in his car. However, he did indeed like his father's beloved car, a modified Dodge Challenger, a classic sports car.
It was meticulously maintained by Mads Wu and given to Jiang Jingshu, but Jiang Jingshu didn't like these noisy sports cars, so after spending a lot of money to complete the formalities, she kept them in China.
With the roar of the engine, Kang Woo-jin drove to the entrance of the SM Company building in Gangnam. Looking at the empty company entrance, he once again wondered if the company was being too low-key.
No matter how many times he looked at it, he felt that the SM Entertainment building wasn't as impressive as their company sign.
It's old and dilapidated. If a typhoon gets too strong, this building will probably be washed away.
The bright orange sports car is very eye-catching, and with its heavily modified engine, it's hard not to attract attention.
Kang Woo-jin put on a baseball cap, got out of the car carrying a bag of snacks and desserts, nodded to the security guard who was staring at him in disbelief at the entrance, and then walked inside on his own.
He had been on set for so many days and hadn't received a message from Kim Tae-yeon. He knew it would be impolite to come looking for her so abruptly.
But he doesn't have much free time and cares a lot about this.
He happened to be off today, which is why he came over to bother me so directly.
Jiang Youzhen looked around at the layout and environment of the company's first floor. It was simple, but it did have some substance. Unlike its dilapidated exterior, the interior was relatively clean and tidy.
He walked over to the front desk, a polite, businesslike smile on his face, and asked, "Excuse me, where do the trainees practice?"
The receptionist stared blankly at the suddenly appearing Kang Woo-jin, somewhat surprised by his striking appearance even with a hat on. She subconsciously assumed he had received a talent scout's business card and had come over, but the more she looked at his face, the more familiar it seemed, as if she had seen him somewhere before.
Before the receptionist could react, several people walked down the corridor from the other side. They looked quite young and were dressed in casual clothes. Coincidentally, they heard Jiang Youzhen's question and instinctively asked him.
"Excuse me... May I ask who you are?"
"Huh? Aren't you...that guy, Kang Woo-jin?"
"It really is. But why is Kang Woo-jin coming to our company?"
Hearing the sound, Kang Woo-jin looked over and saw that three of them were girls he had seen at MBC TV station before. He subconsciously looked towards the back of the crowd but did not see the petite figure, and he couldn't help but feel a little disappointed.
Why didn't that little one come out?
